Seeing a doctor during the holidays: Allodocteur.ca remains open

The holiday season is often synonymous with rest and family time, but health problems don't take a vacation. Winter infections, acute pain, prescription refills, or medical concerns can arise at any time.

At Allodocteur.ca, we make it easier to see a doctor during the holiday season by offering quick private medical consultations without having to go to the emergency room.

Our availability during the holidays

We remain open during the holidays, with consultations available at our office and at home, except on the following dates:

  • Closed on December 25

  • Closed from January 1 to 4, 2026, inclusive

Outside of these dates, appointments are available at short notice, subject to availability.

Consultation fees

Our rates are transparent and competitive:

  • Point-of-service consultation: starting at $150

    📍 2225 Sainte-Catherine Street East, Montreal

  • Home medical consultation: starting at $290

Ideal for patients who prefer to be seen in the comfort of their own home, without having to travel.

Receipts are provided for private insurance when applicable. We also welcome patients without RAMQ coverage (foreign students, visitors, temporary workers).

An alternative to emergency care during the holidays

When clinics are closed or full, the emergency room often becomes the only option. For many common health problems, a family medicine consultation provides adequate care that is faster and less stressful.
