At Allodocteur.ca, our physicians practice as private health professionals who are not members of the RAMQ. Consequently, the costs associated with your medical consultation, as well as any medical services provided, are the responsibility of the patient and will not be reimbursed by the RAMQ.

However, your private insurance may reimburse all or part of these costs. We strongly recommend that you contact your insurer for detailed information on your specific coverage and the steps to follow for possible reimbursement.

Following each consultation, we will issue you with a receipt which can be used for tax purposes.

Although telemedicine offers many advantages, there are limits to the services it can provide. Virtual consultations are not appropriate for emergency situations requiring immediate intervention, such as a heart attack or stroke. In such cases, an in-person consultation is necessary for appropriate treatment.
